Eye to Eye with LifeFrans Lanting
This exhibition features highlights from some of his many projects, including Eye to Eye, intimate portraits of animals that reveal the kinship of all life on earth; Into Africa, an enduring vision of the African continent and what is at stake for its natural heritage; and LIFE, A Journey Through Time, a lyrical interpretation of the history of life on earth from the Big Bang to the present.
Lanting’s work reveals the unique personal aesthetic he brings to photography and the startling new perspective on wildlife and wild places his images provoke. “No photographer turns animals into art more completely than Frans Lanting,” writes The New Yorker. His fine art prints are represented in many public and private collections
FRANS LANTING has been hailed as one of the great nature photographers of our time. His influential work appears in books, magazines, and exhibitions around the world.
